About Chad Kessinger

Chad Kessinger joined Barnes Maloney PLLC in 2001, and became a partner with the firm in 2010.  He handles civil litigation and regulatory matters throughout Kentucky and surrounding states, with an emphasis in the construction, mining, explosives and blasting industries.  Chad is an AV-rated construction attorney with 20 years of experience serving as lead counsel for contractors, mine operators, blasting subcontractors, and trucking companies in all types of tort and contract actions.  He further represents insurers and claims management professionals with respect to these lines of business.

Chad grew up on a tobacco and cattle farm in a small, central Kentucky town before going to Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, where he earned degrees in Mathematics and Economics. He then attended the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he served on the Trial Advocacy Board.
