Blake Edwards & Daniel Wenig Obtain Dismissal of Auto Warranty Claim

In March 2021, Blake Edwards and Daniel Wenig obtained Summary Judgment in Jefferson District Court on behalf of an automobile maintenance facility that was sued by a customer for breach of warranty.  Plaintiff alleged that the automobile maintenance facility negligently performed work on his vehicle and would not honor the warranty for the work that was performed.  Mr. Edwards and Mr. Wenig argued that the automobile maintenance facility performed its work with all due care and that such work fell outside the scope of its published warranty.  The Court heard arguments of counsel and granted Summary Judgment in favor of the automobile maintenance facility.  As a result, the Court dismissed all of Plaintiff’s claims against the automobile maintenance facility.
