Richard Schiller and Terri Boroughs obtained a defense verdict – 2015

Richard Schiller and Terri Boroughs obtained a defense verdict on 10/22/2015 in Jefferson Circuit Court for two radiologists who were accused of misinterpreting a CT scan as pneumonia when they should have read it as a blood clot in a young patient who died from a Pulmonary Embolus one week after the CT interpretation. The Plaintiff argued that the images showed classic signs of a pulmonary embolism. The defense proved that the image interpretation was more consistent with pneumonia.
