About Sean P. Johnson
Sean Johnson joined the firm in January 2020. His practice areas include automobile and trucking negligence, construction defects, and general liability claims.
Sean was born and raised in Southeast Michigan. He received his undergraduate education at Michigan State University, where he graduated with a B.A. in Finance, a minor in Philosophy, and specialized in Information Technology. Sean then attended law school at DePaul University, where he graduated and received a certificate in Business Law. While at DePaul, Sean served on the DePaul’s Business & Commercial Law Journal and the DePaul Moot Court Society where he competed nationally.
Sean has called Louisville home since graduating from law school in 2013. Prior to joining the firm, Sean worked for more than three years in the Adult Trial Division as an Assistant Public Defender in Louisville, defending misdemeanor and felony cases. Prior to SBM, Sean gained experience practicing cases involving personal injury, worker’s compensation, probate, and family law.
Outside of work, Sean enjoys music, cooking, and traveling.
