Megan Adkins

About Megan L. Adkins

Megan Adkins joined Barnes Maloney PLLC in September 2020. Her practice area focuses on representation of health care providers and facilities in defense of medical negligence claims. She is a member of the Louisville Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Division.

Megan was born and raised in Pikeville, Kentucky. She received her undergraduate education at Morehead State University, where she graduated with a B.A. in Legal Studies. Megan then attended law school at NKU Chase College of Law where she graduated a semester early.
Following law school, Megan served as a judicial clerk to Kentucky Supreme Court Justice Samuel T. Wright, III. Prior to joining SBM, Megan worked as a civil defense attorney, handling the defense of automobile liability and insurance coverage issues.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with family.
